I'm passionate about crafting designs that bring convenience.

So glad you’re here and allow me to introduce a little about myself! (With some visual aid, of course)

Here I am, still loving what I do.

To my surprise, I was able to transfer a lot of my teaching skills and experience to how I understand my target audience - with the strong attentiveness to detail and user empathy.

I tend to have a strong urge to make things as organized as possible - including project scoping, research findings and my design work!

(I tend to lay out complex things as clean and clear as possible and this is also how I approach and execute my design work.)

I studied English literature and linguistics during undergrad.

During this time, I tutored/tought a lot of Korean students English at private English academies during undergrad.

I never really branched out to anything else, and I thought I was going to be a translator or a teacher.

But then, I took a class called “Design Thinking”.

There I realized that designing wasn’t just all creativity and artistic drawing on paper with pens. I was truly fascinated about how I, who really isn’t the best with drawings, was able to design products with the help of research and critical thinking.

I then decided to turn that course in school into a full-time career.

But then, I took a class called “Design Thinking”.

I was truly fascinated about how I could also "design" with the help of data, research and critical thinking. I found out about UX design and took a bootcamp course to see if it was truly for me. And, I found myself looking for further resources for learning outside of the bootcamp curriculum - that was when I knew I had to fully commit to UX/UI design.

Outside of work,

Call me an organization freak, but I have been recently having fun with making labels for home organization. I just can’t condone any visual clutter!

Check this page for pics! 😍

I would say I'm pretty athletic! I like to dance, (I was part of the club committee in school.) and most recently, playing badminton has been an addiction.
